Over the last six years, I have been an avid HTC fan. My first smartphone was the HTC Cingular 2125, running Windows Mobile 5.0 and after that I owned a Tilt, Fuze, Aria, and currently an Inspire. Ever since the rumors of the new HTC Flagship phone started circling the internet, I have been waiting for this device. Ever since it was announced at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona back in February, I have been anxious to see the device in person. That day is here and I finally have my hands on it.

First Impressions

The first thing you will notice about the One X is its unique construction that sets HTC apart from other Android OEMs when it comes to build quality. Like the Nokia Lumia 900, the HTC One X is has a polycarbonate unibody housing. It is also .36 inches thick, which is slightly thinner than the iPhone 4S, and the 1280 x 720 HD resolution produces an image that puts most other displays to shame. The redesigned HTC Sense 4.0 uses a similar lockscreen to the previous Sense 3.x versions allowing you to either pull the ring up to unlock the phone or drag an app into the ring to launch that app. The new launcher (homescreen) is much cleaner than previous versions, and the dock at the bottom of the screen is now customizable, rather than simply being a shortcut to the app drawer and phone dialer.

In Use

After some time using the device, I realized how fast the device really is, applications launch as soon as you lift your finger off of the screen. Animations are smooth, not choppy like some devices running previous versions of HTC Sense. The web browsing experience on the HTC One X is better than any device I have used in the past, pages load quickly and scrolling around the page is extremely fluid. LTE connectivity allows for fast download and upload speeds so you can load web pages quickly, stream music and videos, and upload pictures and videos in a snap. System-wide Beats Audio Integration delivers audio the way it was meant to be heard and within any application on the device so you can use it with your favorite apps from the Google Play Store, such as Spotify, Youtube, MOG and Google Play Music. Unfortunately, it is only active when using headphones, and the device did not come with a pair of Beats Audio headphones, but it does make the headphones that I own sound much better when it is active. The 4.7 inch 1280 x 720 display is perfect for watching movies and videos on the go since you actually get to experience things in high definition, instead of just “high quality” or what ever words a company wants to throw out to describe the screen on their device. The screen on the One X also has a very wide viewing angle, which means you should be able to see the screen from pretty much any angle.

The One X’s 8 Megapixel camera, with an F/2.0 aperture and 28mm lens and dedicated image chip, provides the best pictures that I have ever seen from a smartphone’s camera. The camera also records HD video in 1080p and allows you to take pictures while recording video, so you don’t have to choose if you want pictures or video of a special occasion. It is also possible to take pictures from the video during playback. The 1.3 MP front facing camera allows for video chat in 720p. The One X also supports NFC (Near Field Communication) which allows you transmit data to other devices just by setting them in range of each other without pairing the devices together. The One X’s 1800 mAh battery should be enough to get you through the day, but unfortunately, since it is sealed in the device, you can’t just put another battery in and keep going; you will have to find a charger. Also, another down side is the device only has 16 GB of internal storage and there is no microSD card slot to increase storage capacity.

Recap

While some people may complain about the One X only being available with 16GB of internal storage, I find that 16 GB of storage is plenty with all the Music services available to let you stream music to your phone. HTC does offer One X owners 23 GB storage to of storage free for 2 years for pictures and other items, on top of the free 2GB that Dropbox offers, giving you a total of 25GB of storage. You can also set to Dropbox to automatically upload pictures and videos to the cloud. Don’t worry you can set it to upload over wifi-only to avoid data overages from the inevitable abuse of the camera’s rapid-fire feature.

With its amazing screen and powerful hardware under the hood, the HTC One X packs beauty and power into a slim and smooth form factor. Overall the HTC One X is a well built device and can handle pretty much anything you could throw at it without a problem. The international version of the device has a Quad Core Tegra 3 processor, but unfortunately the Tegra 3 does not support LTE. I found the dual core Snapdragon processor to be fast enough for everything I do with an Android smartphone, so for me having the LTE connectivity, in markets where it is available, is a huge plus.

The HTC One X will be available from AT&T on May 6th for $199.99 when signing a 2 year commitment.

Check back soon for more on the HTC One X

Smoked By A Windows Phone!!

I first laid eyes on the Nokia Lumia 900 running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango in Las Vegas at AT&T’s Developers Summit, on January 9, 2012. In triumph upon the new Lumia 900′s release, Nokia had a celebration at the Playboy Club in the Palms Hotel. Mingling through the crowd were representatives of Nokia, brandishing this masterpiece of technology for you to take a limited hands on review of its magnificence that rivaled the iPhone 4/4S in design! My first impression of Lumia 900 was that the screen was spectacular in its presentation of colors and a perfect size of 4.3″! Even more so was the snappy responsiveness of the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS it was running! Windows Phone 7.5 Mango was so fresh in its appearance and operated without lag when exploring its intricacies. Grasping it in my hand felt so natural and comfortable! Its rounded edges, soft polycarbonate body combined with the perfect width and height, it practically melded itself into your hand! Myself being an Apple fanboy with allegiance there unto, I said to myself, ” this will be my next phone,” and likely for some time!

I introduce to you the Nokia Lumia 900, the flagship Windows Phone that will create more than just magic, it will set the precedence of returning Microsoft and Nokia back to the forefront of electronics world as we know it! Pairing the Nokia Lumia 900, running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango with AT&T’s super fast 4G LTE network is like adding icing to the cake! Get ready for a fresh new Lumianating experience!

Review:

So after using the Nokia Lumia 900 for the last 2 weeks would my impression of the phone come away with the same initial impression I received in January at CES? Lets just say this phone is “SMOKIN HOT” in every aspect!!

Set up and syncing was as easy as the iPhone! With Windows Phone Connector for Mac transferred my music, videos, photos and podcasts from iTunes, iPhoto and Aperture on my MacBook. If you have a Microsoft PC you use Zune for PC for setup and syncing. You will need to open up a Windows Live account as this sets up your account with the Marketplace and keeps a cloud backup of sorts incase there are problems that require a backup of what was on your Nokia Lumia 900.

Many people’s big concern with going to a Windows Phone is the availability of their favorite apps. The Marketplace with over 80,000 apps and is adding 350 new apps everyday, has almost every app I use on my iPhone except for a few that I was able to find something with the same capabilities. The Marketplace has many of the most popular titles like Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, eBay, Amazon Mobile, Spotify, Netflix, Skype, Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja to name a few. Microsoft with Nokia’s help have taken an aggressive approach to adding more top apps to the Marketplace. They have done this by adding more countries who can contribute to the Marketplace, as well as giving monetary incentives to developers to push its continued population with these new apps. The Marketplace is anticipated to have close to a 100,000 apps by summer.

The Windows Phone 7.5 Mango software is snappy and responsive without lag, that is certainly helped along with the 1.4Mhz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 512MB of RAM. For someone coming from using the iOS platform for so long, the Windows Phone 7 OS is fresh and exciting as my experience was with iOS back in 2008. The Mango UI is most certainly as easy to setup and navigate around as my iPhone is with iOS. This is important to users coming from other mobile platforms like Android and BlackBerry as well. The Lock Screen shows notifications of calls, voicemail, texts, email and calendar highlights. You can also add pictures to your Lock Screen to personalize your Lumia. Upon opening the Lock Screen with a swipe of your finger up you are presented with two rows of vertically placed tiles with your primary features like phone, messaging, email, Calendar, Internet Explorer, and more!! The Live Tiles feature is one of the highlights of the Windows Phone OS’s personality. Take for instance the Weather Channel app’s Live Tile gives you up to date temperature, weather conditions and radar shots. Another favorite app of mine is 4th & Mayor app, which is for posting to FourSquare. It does it much better and efficiently than the FourSquare app! The Me Tile is your notification and posting center for instantly posting to all your social medial outlets or looking at the most recent responses to your posts. The People Live Tile is like a hub for quick access to your selected Social Media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Facebook is integrated into the OS in many areas with the ability to post quickly either comments or pictures to your Wall. Though to be truthful Facebook for Windows Phone is not up to the standard of iOS, Android and Blackberry’s Facebook apps in one fairly important area, Messages. Facebook chat messages are slow to come to your attention by notification of the app or within your Messaging app where your texts also come to reside. Though for whatever reason this has seemed to improve for me speed wise as I kept using the Lumia, so this could be a integration API problem between Windows Phone and Facebook though I’m not sure. Some people have also said to get rid of the Facebook app altogether, I have yet to try that, but plan too. In the upper right is arrow that takes you to a listing of your apps and settings. These are displayed in alphabetical order though it would be nice if they allowed you to customize the order of these. This is where by pressing and holding down on any app gives you the options of pin to start, rate and review or uninstall. So overall the Windows Phone 7 experience on the Nokia Lumia 900 is fresh, exciting, informative, customizable, user friendly and fun to look at with the ever changing Live Tiles profiling your your life highlights.

The candy bar form factor of the Nokia Lumia is likely the most solid feeling phone I have handled in a long time, with the exception being the iPhone 4/4S. The big difference between this solid feeling on the Lumia and iPhone was, I felt like the Nokia Lumia 900 could be dropped multiple times during the life of the phone without repercussions resulting in breakage like the iPhone’s glass body. The polycarbonate body’s solid non-plasticky feel and screen made from Gorilla Glass gives you the reassurance that it will take the licking and keep on ticking. The rounded edges makes holding the Nokia Lumia 900 much more natural in feel and accents the phones controls for easy acquisition. Scratches of the body on the Nokia Lumia 900 will not remove the the color as the polycarbonate has the been mold injected with color, so no matter how deep scratches are, the Lumia’s polycarbonate body will still reveal the beautiful color that you chose for your phone. Below the beautiful 4.3″ ClearBlack AMOLED screen you have the touch capitative buttons of, Back, Home and Search. Above the AMOLED screen is the earpiece speaker. The ClearBlack AMOLED screen is spectacular with its clarity and resolution. Colors are vibrantly pure and blacks are black as night with perfect representation on the ClearBlack AMOLED screen the Nokia Lumia 900 sports. The ClearBlack technology helps you to better see the screen when you are outside in the direct sunlight. The Nokia Lumia’s ClearBlack AMOLED screen is not on the level of the Retina Display but better than the Super AMOLED screens which in my opinion over saturate the colors and brightness giving their screens an unnatural appearance at times. On the side you have physical hardware buttons of your up and down volume rocker, power/lock button and a dedicated camera button. I am still getting familiar with the volume and power/lock button placement where often times I was pressing the volume rocker when trying to lock the phone. Though continued use of the Nokia Lumia 900 will eliminate this problem in time. I really like the dedicated camera button as you never know when your kids are going to give you a “Carl Zeiss” moment! These split second opportunities are captured by either the rear 8MP Carl Zeiss optics with dual LED flash or the front facing 1MP camera. The rear camera takes spectacular photos and video with great resolution and representation of colors. I have posted some sample pictures and video I took on a recent trip to San Antonio. I think you will agree these pictures rival the mighty iPhone 4S’s camera in picture quality. The front facing camera is great for Tango or Skype video calls and worked very well in my tests with friends. On top of the phone is is your SIM tray slot, MicroUSB charging/syncing port, secondary mic, and 3.5MM headphone jack. Personally because of my setup in my truck I would prefer the charging port had been on the bottom. On the bottom is your speaker and primary microphone. The phone has a 1830 mAh battery that with 4G and light to moderate usage gave me 1 day and 4hrs of use. On LTE I was able to use the phone with light to moderate usage for 14hrs before it powered down. In regards to call quality the Nokia Lumia 900 made clear calls to my friends via the phone itself or with use of several different BlueTooth devices I used. Pleasantly I was surprised the first time a text came in and it read the text over my BlueTooth speakerphone to me. It then gave me the option of verbally replying without taking my hands off the steering wheel. I consider this a safe way to text as it is no different than talking to someone sitting in the passenger’s seat. My job many times takes me far out of town into areas where the signal is not that great along the Texas and Mexico border. The Nokia Lumia 900 consistently kept signal better without losing reception once, where at times my iPhone 4S gave me a No Service display. I was fortunate to go to San Antonio to test LTE speeds. Wow do I love LTE!! Using a app called BandWidth I was able to get speeds of almost 19Mbps on the download and 8Mbps on the upload. I am unsure of the BandWidth app’s compatibility with LTE, though it was my best option without availability of a Speedtest.net app from Ookla for Windows Phone 7.

Overall I continue to be impressed with the Nokia Lumia 900′s design and solid feel in my hand. Despite not having a Retina Display it still looks amazing and I can sit a watch the Live Tiles all day. Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is so fresh and exciting for me to use as my primary device. As I await for the Cyan color to arrive at the latter part of this week I feel that excitement that I felt the first time I got the iPhone. This is a big step for me to leave the iPhone as I have been called an Apple fanboy as evidenced by references comparing it to the iPhone. The Markeplace app store has a more than adequate amount of apps with new ones coming everyday. Nokia, Microsoft and AT&T have made a masterpiece of a smartphone that I feel will get many to jump ship like I have. AT&T has this tremendous phone priced at $99.99 with 2year contract is a heck of deal!! Get yours on April 8th for a Happy Easter present!! So take the jump and experience the Nokia Lumia 900!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Folders – They are more manageable then they were before. You can arrange the apps inside the folders however you prefer! Folders work like they did on the iPhone.

New Apps/Features – ICS now has a Notes app and a Tasks app. Both are very nice! I have not done very much with the Notes app quite yet. But I know it syncs with Evernote if you have that set up. The Tasks app is pretty cool. I am finishing testing out how that works today. But it seems to really help you keep organized.

Notifications – The notifications area is much more organized and clean. You can now just clear out one individual notification at a time instead of everything! To clear out one notification you just swipe left to right and it goes away.

Widgets – You now have a smaller version of the weather widget! And it says you can resize your widgets to make them smaller or bigger as well. I have not done that. But it was a highlighted feature so I needed to mention that.

Beats Audio – This rocks! Now, it is probably better on a new device with updated hardware, but it still rocks on the Vivid! The music seems louder and clearer!! It is very nice.

New Camera Features – The camera rocks!! You now have scenes, effects, and all kinds of settings. Almost like an actual digital camera! Now has panorama mode too! Very nice. Pics seem much nicer and even brighter. Little to NO shutter lag!!! Much faster to take pics!!

Photo Gallery – Your photo albums load much faster and smoother now! Easier to move around in your photos. Easier to share them.

Text To Speech – Much better then before. Recognizes your words much nicer! Almost right on!! I only noticed a couple of errors, but I had background noise that could have caused that.

Settings/Personalize/Wallpaper – All found under the menu button now. Everything seems more organized and easier to get to.

Screen Capture – To take a photo of your screen all you have to do is click and hold the power button then click the home button and release both. (Thanks Gregory Ryan for teaching me that a while ago.) This worked before with GB and it still works with ICS.

Facebook – When I had my HTC Inspire and when I first got my HTC Vivid I noticed I was not able to share things on facebook like I was with the iPhone. Well now when you are in facebook and you see someone post a pic that you like and want to share on your own page you can do that now! All you have to do is open the pic in facebook then hit the menu button and then share! Much easier and nicer to share now.

Visually Impaired – ICS is much easier on the eyes! You can change the text size in the stock messaging app to larger or smaller sizes. Now you could do that with GB also, but it seems easier and smoother now. The screen is more crisp and clear. ICS is also made for people with visual impairments! If you set it up right in the beginning the phone can read everything to you!!

Visual Voicemail – This is the stock app. It is good!!! Reminds me of the iPhone’s visual voicemail. I have not noticed any issues. It seems very nice and reliable.

Bluetooth Mouse/Keyboard – There is a way to bluetooth a mouse and or keyboard to your Vivid now. However, I did not do that. But I had to mention it since it is one of the new features.

Tiered Data Usage – Press menu, settings, usage…. this will allow you to see your data usage so you don’t go over on your data plan! You can set it to remind you when you are getting close.

Face Recognition – On your lock screen you can use face recognition. I am not using it.

Battery Life – OMG!!! I am in awe on this!!! On the Vivid the battery was always very very nice! However, now it is ever nicer!!! I can go over 15 hours of semi heavy use on my phone and the battery just turn yellow and almost need a charge!! I was shocked!! I have done this a couple of times!! I couldn’t believe it!! It is totally rockin!

There is also a way to disable the pre-loaded apps on ICS. I have not found how to do that as of yet. But I heard it is possible.

ICS on the Vivid is very fast and very smooth!! Responses are awesome!! I couldn’t believe it. It responds so fast now that is probably why the battery life is so good! I have used many different phones, and so far this is the best!!! I will be using my Vivid for a long time! It has everything and more!

My current Favorite iPad and iPhone app is Draw Something. It has been in the news lately because Zynga Purchased it from OMGPOP the original creator.

So Basically, Its a very simple game.. You Create a game with your friends, Pick a word, and draw a Picture describing that word, Afterword when they guess your word, they will draw something and send it back to you.

My friend drew a pencil, you can currently go up to 99 Rounds, Then it starts over to 1. However Zynga is working on making that extended to more levels soon! Once you Guess their picture, you return with your own Picture. Continual Process. My favorite part of the app is not only that its fun, and a great way to loose track of time, But the fact that the creators do not REQUIRE you to spend money to play the game.. (Of course with Zynga taking over, im sure that will change soon) So the more you play, the more coins you earn.. Allowing yo to buy Bombs, which explode a few letters not used in the word, so you can have an easier time guessing the word, or buy more colors to draw with. Although they do have the option to use Real life money for In game money, it isn’t required to play and have a fun experience.

Currently Draw Something is Free in the iOS App Store, and is available for Android as well. You can purchase an optional Ad-Free version for $0.99, Which I opted for. It makes the overall game a better experience without ads bothering you constantly.

I just want to add that we are not sponsored, nor paid to advertise this game. This was a personal opinion of what is becoming my all time Favorite iPhone/iPad app, so I figured id share it!

The “new iPad” came out exactly 10 Days ago, and I was among many there on launch day to get one. Considering I had only Tried the iPad 2 for about a week before hand, This would be my first iPad that I didn’t plan on returning the following week. First impression of the iPad, is I love it… I fell in love with the iPad 2 and when they said LTE I had no doubt in my mind that i would get the 3, or “new” one.

Before I go any further.. lets address why i keep doing my “New iPad”.. For some reason, instead of iPad 3, Apple decided to drop the number and just call it new… I’m still a bit confused on this, because what are they going to do next year, call it the old iPad? For the consumer it seems like a huge confusion to me, Considering one is just called “new iPad” and the other is called iPad 2, So As a consumer with no back knowledge of Apple, would think the Two is newer.. Not a very good marketing strategy if you ask me.. Dont get me wrong, I am what some refer to as an “Apple Fanboy” I own many of their products, and continue to buy more.

Super-Duper high Res photo from Matthew Ballew

I opted for the White 16GB AT&T LTE Model. Although I do not have LTE in my area, It is still pretty fast on HSPA. Something people are calling the “Main noticeable difference” is the High resolution screen, Witch is actually Twice as better as the screen on the iPad 2. I will admit it does look pretty nice, I feel like the pixels are closer together on my iPhone than my iPad. Actually, when looking at the Specs sheet of both, it not only seems that way, it is that way.. Never the less the “new iPad” has a pretty amazing looking screen.

Aside from my Finger Prints.. You can see that its Pretty high-resolution.. While were on the subject of Finger Prints, Lets talk about how bad this can get… I would say that the iPad is the worse apple product at dealing with Finger prints.. I can’t really notice any on my iPhone as much as i use it on a daily basis, however they are more than noticeable on the iPad, For whatever unknown reason. Although the “new iPad’ has Quad Core graphics, I can’t really notice any huge difference in the performance, Maybe because they dint upgrade the processor that runs everything else, only the Graphics Processor. When running a Bench Mark test on the “new iPad” I actually score LOWER than that of the iPad 2. This is quite disappointing considering this one is supposed to be so much better..

Yes it has points that fall short and are disappointing, However its still an amazing device.. I find my self using it Daily, I never expected to use it nearly as much as I actually do! Actually, After buying it I have spent more in the App store in 10 days than I have an any period of consecutive time in buying apps.

So let’s get to the important part… My opinion. Is it worth it? I say Yes and No.. If you have LTE in your area, and are going for the LTE Model, Yes! Definitely worth it! If you are going only for the Wifi Model, I honestly don’t think there are enough noticeable changes to spend the extra $100.00 that you would save from the iPad 2. Me personally I do not have LTE in my area, however I am addicted to my iPad, and AT&T’s HSPA does good enough to pull everything i want to do such as Skype Calls, or YouTube when needed.

Although the Smart Cover is an additional item to purchase, I couldn’t imagine using my iPad without it. Its been a great saver for my iPad from Accidental Drops, or Where the screen may have gotten scratched from an accidental bump. Considering this iPad was $100 more than my iPad 2, I didn’t opt for the Accidental Protection Plan on this one.. So the ability to be extra careful is much-needed.

The battery life on the “new iPad” Is just as great as expected, I was concerned at first, because it didn’t seem to last very long the first few days, But after condition the battery (as you should do with any mobile device) It is just as good at the iPad 2.

When rating the iPad in an overall, I give it a 8 out of 10. It’s a great device, I can’t go very long without putting it down! But I feel like it its falling short when comparing it to what may come out this year. I believe LTE was a perfect step to take, however the fact that they didn’t touch the processor, and left it a Dual Core at 1Ghz, when there are already 1.5Ghz Dual core tablets out, was not a good choice. The front facing camera was also not touched, which I think it could have used an upgrade, The back of the iPad is still using this Aluminum design, and although I love it, It is very easy to get dirty (as with the front explained above) Making the iPad look dirty most of the time, and last the Back camera.. The iPhone camera is a 8 Mega Pixel, So why only a 5 for the iPad? None of these points are noticeable downsides to the iPad and merely opinion.. Overall it’s still a great tablet, and I would recommend it to a friend or Family Member.. Actually, I have.

Unfortunately the Price Point is still an issue for me.. When the original iPad came out, I said to myself that i would never buy it at that price.. I did, and now I am having second thoughts. If Apple would adapt the Discounted price with 2 Year Contract thing, id likely buy in to that.

We have been working on these for some time. Due to the constraints of my job it has been difficult to get to the t-shirt business to finalize the deal. Along with some scheduling difficulties that is why there was a delay. So here is the deal. The shirts will be $25 including shipping only to the continental United States and only with Payment via PayPal. So that means only to a confirmed PayPal address. There is limited supply so it will be on a first come first serve basis with Large and X-Large available. Here is a video of the t-shirts so you can see what they look like!! In order to sell them we had to stay away from using AT&T and the globe logo though it is hinted at with the logo on the back. The shirts are made out of a Nike LIKE Dri-fit material. They are extremely comfortable and feel great on. I hope you all like them. Once again we have only a limited supply so it will be on a first come, first serve basis for this first batch. If we get enough orders then by all means we will order some more to fill those orders though there will be a delay in shipment. Shipment will be as soon as I have time during the week or Saturday. Understand all profits above the processing fees from these shirts will go toward the fans with the purchase of prizes if this is successful. Thanks! ~Andy Kaufman

I believe this was everything that we expected, but the one thing to throw me over, and likely my “one more thing” is how they ended the conference. Quotes from Tim Cook: ”2012: There’s a lot to look forward to.” and ”We are just getting started. ” That is just enough to get me excited!

I have been meaning to tell all my friends what I have been up to in my spare time. Well I finally got some, spare time that is, and thought I would elaborate on my experiences. For the past three years I have been helping administrate a Facebook page called the AT&T Fan Page. Collectively we are called the WolfPack after viciously defending the AT&T brand over the years! We are made up of members who have expertise in selected phone platforms or have great knowledge of AT&T services. These people are Adam, Becka, Dave, Duane, Gabriel, Gregg, Greggory, Lance, Matthew, Nick and Tracy. They are all wonderful people, team players and great friends of mine. I have also made some great friends who are fans of our page, though there are too many to name in this story but they know who they are. As a team we go to AT&T’s Facebook page and help out customers, keep everyone up to date on the lastest news from AT&T and more. The AT&T Fan Page experience has been highly rewarding with the development of these relationships! Early last year our efforts got noticed and AT&T contacted us about doing some joint efforts to help promote AT&T. We at first received some wonderful new phones to review from AT&T. Admins of our page wrote articles and did YouTube videos to showcase these wonderful devices. We then started getting invited to events and video conferences held by AT&T, brushing shoulders with other big time tech reviewers like Jon Rettinger of TechnoBuffalo and Bonnie Cha of CNET. In December AT&T asked me to meet with some representatives of the Facebook corporation to do a marketing video on how Facebook has helped develop relationships like that of the AT&T Fan Page and AT&T . Three wonderful individuals from Facebook flew down to my house and filmed me for the following video. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10101363555879903

We then started off this year with a bang when AT&T invited the WolfPack to attend the AT&T’s Developers Summit and CES(Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, where we would write articles interlaced with videos covering the events. AT&T would then post those articles on their Facebook page or retweet our articles on Twitter. To put it mildly we had a blast!! It was many experiences of this trip, though the first one was most memorable for me when Gregg, Matthew and myself finally met each other for the first time! To this point we had only chatted or video conferenced. It was really great to finally meet and hangout with these guys whose primary memory for me up to this point had been their profile picture! LOL! After having some spare time to see the sites of Las Vegas the first night, we retired early that as we were excited for the days to come! They next day we started off covering the Hackathon, which is a competition put on by AT&T for app developers to come up with an original app in one day and the winner is presented with like a $5000 prize. The AT&T Developers Summit Keynote was the next day with an early interview with Jon Rettinger of TechnoBuffalo! It was a highlight of the show for me as Mr. Rettinger is top in this field of covering electronic related tech and personally I like his style! We then sat in a big auditorium and listened to the top CEO’s of AT&T, Microsoft, Samsung, Nokia, HTC, Sony, and Pantech present some of their new devices coming to AT&T this year. Afterwards we got to handle some of these devices with some of them holding some wild parties to showcase their new phones. The day cumulated with a private rock show for AT&T by Nickelback. It was awesome!! We then spent two days at the Las Vegas C0nvention Center at CES. It was amazing seeing all the new electronics, from TV’s thinner than a notepad of paper to washers and dryers controlled through an app on your smartphone! The WolfPack and AT&T received a personal tour of CES highlights from AOL owned tech covering giant Endgadget! Editorial Director of Endgadget Joshua Frulinger was our gracious guide for this spectacular tour. The one other highlight was we finally got to meet the wonderful people of the AT&T Social Media Team. They were so nice to us and I will forever be grateful for their generosity of the trip and the friendships we strengthened! They are really super nice, down to earth people. The WolfPack plan to continue to build our Social Media outlets and our website to continue to develop our relationship with AT&T. Thus we will continue to Defend the Brand!
